A few HCM vendors are now offering "AI-generated employee handbook" features — feed in your state list and headcount, get a draft handbook. Our employment lawyer hates the idea on instinct.

For anyone who's used these in production: did your legal review still catch material issues, or did the AI handbook genuinely save time net of review hours? And how does the IP / liability story actually work if a court later finds the AI-generated language ambiguous?
