Background check workflow — is anyone running this in-platform vs. point solutions?
We use Checkr for background checks, integrated loosely with our HCM via webhook. It works but feels brittle.
For anyone running background checks natively in their HCM (Rippling, Bamboo, Paylocity all advertise this): does the native experience actually save time, or are you just trading one integration point for vendor lock-in? And how do you handle adjudication (FCRA pre-adverse / adverse notices) cleanly in either model?
