Where is AI in HR tech actually useful today (vs. just demo theater)?
Every HCM vendor is showing AI features in their demos. Most of it looks like marketing. I am trying to separate real production value from vendor noise so I can advocate for the right ones internally.
What AI features have you seen that genuinely save your HR / payroll team time? Specifically interested in:
- Resume screening (does it actually shortlist well?)
- Payroll error detection / anomaly flagging
- Employee Q&A bots (Glean / Moveworks-style)
- Compliance monitoring
Real experiences welcome — happy to compare notes.
