ADP launches Lyric HCM — flexible enterprise platform above WFN
Lyric sits above WFN for 1,000+ employee orgs with global footprints (75+ countries at launch). Vantage HCM is being positioned as a sunset path.
ADP announced Lyric HCM in September 2024 as a new flexible, intelligent, and human-centric enterprise HR platform. Lyric sits above Workforce Now in the ADP product family — designed for 1,000+ employee organizations with global footprints (75+ countries supported at launch) and complex talent, comp, and workforce-planning requirements.
In November 2025, ADP integrated its WorkForce Suite acquisition (closed 2024) into Lyric, consolidating advanced scheduling and time-and-attendance capabilities for enterprise customers. Vantage HCM is being positioned as a sunset path; Lyric is the forward platform for new enterprise sales.
Buyer-side takeaway
For mid-market buyers, Lyric isn’t your product — WFN is. But the existence of Lyric clarifies what WFN is for: integrated payroll + HR + benefits + time + talent at 50–999 employees (officially) or up to ~5,000 (stretch). If a rep tries to upsell you to "ADP enterprise" capabilities, ask whether they mean Lyric or WFN Premium — they’re very different products.
